Safe Administration of Medications in Domiciliary Care
This version of our safe administration of medicines course is adapted to suit delegates who have involvement with medications in the community setting. The course outlines the scope and limitations of adult support workers regarding medicines and highlights best practice on maintaining safety and avoiding harm from medicines. The course has the usual background to how medicines can be harmful and provides an overview of relevant legislation and guidance. The course can be further tailored to incorporate the teams policies, documentation and medicines management systems.
