Diabetes Management for Nurses
Delegates start with a revision of anatomy and physiological mechanisms of diabetes followed by discussion on appropriate treatment options & care planning strategies to manage diabetic patients in a safe and effective person-centred way. The course covers a range of practical support measures and explores ways to monitor responses to insulin treatment regimes, prevent complications and monitor patients mindful of issues such as eye, leg and feet complications.
