Infection Prevention & Control
This session covers the latest guidance on infection prevention and control applied to your setting. The course discusses modes of transmission of common infectious organisms and provides a practical walk through of the procedures for applying standard, contact, airborne and droplet precautions. Practical hand hygiene and PPE donning & doffing is assessed. Latest covid guidance is incoeporated.
Recommended duration
3 hours - face to face for inexperienced staff to allow for additional practical elements
2 hours - face to face condensed course for experienced staff
2 hours - online (practical sessions can be arranged seperately)
