Basic Life Support and First Aid

This intensive session covers the core elements of first aid. Content includes a brief look at first aid legislation, responsibilities of the first aider and explores application of primary survey in response to an unconscious casualty, casualty not breathing and conscious casualties with common injuries and emergencies. Practical teaching covers DRABC, recovery position, CPR with AED, choking, bleeds, burns, shock heart attack stroke and more.
