Enteral Feeding with PEG Tube Management

This session gives a complete overview of the basic practical management of a patient with PEG tube.
The theory session covers background to rationale for enteral feeding options and discusses some important ethical consderations. Practical training focusses on competence in setting up and administering bolus and continuous feed regimes and medications via PEG. Stoma care and maintenance of the device are also covered by way of practical demonstration.
